I've run a digital marketing and web development company since 2002. I started it well before YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and before iPhones were launched. Since then, we've completed more than 18,500 projects in the web development and web marketing space.
I've learned quite a bit during the past 20 years of running a company, and the top thing I've realized is that getting the right clients at the right time is no easy task.
In the past, I've had several people on my team trying to do outbound calling. I've done everything from print campaigns (in the very distant past) to Google Ads and other types of outbound, demand generation marketing.
What I've found is that for some areas - such as very niche specialized spaces, Google PPC ads can be a great way to go. But in terms of acquiring new customers for the digital marketing space, it's not been a cost effective way to go.
We're really good at what we do - digital marketing and web development. I don't really have the solid skillset to run a successful outbound call center; I've tried it in the past, and it's not something I found effective.
So late last year, I connected with the team at Arsenal, and was impressed with how they approach things. They have a great handle on how to run a successful outbound call center, and they have a number of systems in place that allow them to get in touch with the right people at the right time.
I've been impressed with their service, and how they are able to get in touch and generate really solid leads with decision makers in the vertical industries that we're targeting. (We have category exclusivity with them, so I'm not worried about sharing my story online as a review.)

The Arsenal guys are great! And they did exactly what they said they’d do.
Outbound sales takes time to bear fruit. You have to be patient. But Gabe and Sam put in the time and the work, made the calls day after day, and pivoted when necessary. They were able to get us multiple appointments with decision makers within the first two months! Since then, I’m typically having appointments with new prospective clients several times a month. After 6 months we just won our first major new contract — a big project for a great client. Now that our pipeline’s filling up, I anticipate more sales to come soon, as proposals go out and the work starts to pay off.
Patience, willingness to put in the hours, relentlessness, integrity, great personalities — plus I feel comfortable having Arsenal represent my company on the phone. They are pros.
