We partnered with Arsenal in May of 2025. We’ve used other outbound calling companies in the past and have not had a good experience. Arsenal was an entirely different approach to outbound calling. We were able to customize our experience internally with communication preferences, as well as the scripts that were used and where we wanted them to focus. Even though we were pretty involved with the on boarding process, they are equipped to get things going with little to no input if we preferred. Arsenal called on us for a couple of years before we decided to engage them for business development. It was partially a timing thing, but there was also a hesitation/concern for brand equity. I was pretty skeptical of 'cold calling' in today's market but as a business we had decided to get intentional about our growth and strategy for our future. We had been using Arsenal for a few months and were going to stop usng their services for the next couple of months for our slow winter season. When we had our monthly call, we explained that we would not be renewing, and was told that since it was after the 25th of the month, we would have to pay for the month of December. It seemed very convenient that they would schedule our monthly call (where they would ask if we wanted to renew for the following month) after the 25th cut off date. We were planning on starting back up in March once the snow melted, but not now. These are businesses that we don't want to partner with and this is something we would never do with one of our clients.

UPDATE 12/05/2023: After calling to collect late payment, I learned this review was submitted by Ascent Roofs of Columbus, OH. We onboarded the account in August 2023 and called for 3 months (September, October, November 2023). In 3 months, we scheduled 17 sales appointments and Ascent was able to get out at least $432,950 in proposals - many of the appointments were completed but not quoted, leaving money on the table.

They were rude, cursed out our operations manager. This behavior is unacceptable. They objected to being referred to as cowards, but still leave reviews from an anonymous google profile. Thank you for identifying yourself, so that we could share the details. Not only did you break your commitment by flat out ignoring our terms of service, you are refusing to pay your bill.

First of all, thank you for your business. Second, I wish I knew who you were so I could speak directly to you, but you were very brave and left an anonymous 1 star review because you failed to follow the simplest of directions....which by the way ruined our 5 star rating. You're really going to trash us because we offer a 5 day notice of cancellation?

I'll address your review, but first...I want you to know that attacking us anonymously and trying to tarnish our reputation is cowardly. I hope the general public reads my response and realizes just how goofy your complaint is. Your confidence to post this review demonstrates how little self-awareness you have.

We are a month to month service, but we are not a start and stop service at the drop of a dime. I employ real people, who have families, and lives to take care of.

We schedule all monthly partner meeting calls between the 15-25th of the month. If your schedule didn't allow for that, then we obliged you. This did not prevent you from canceling as you only have to send an email to support@arsenalbg.com by the 25th to cancel at the end of the month.

Our cancellation policy is the easiest and most straight forward in the industry. There is nothing convenient about it for us - you can cancel our service up to the 25th of the month. After that, it applies to the following month. That means we can find out that you're not returning with only 5 days left before the next billing cycle (1st of the month). It's not convenient to get news that you're not coming back with only 5 days to budget for the next month...it is practically impossible to budget and provide a good service on less notice than that. I'm curious how flexible you are with your terms etc. but we won't know because you're complaining anonymously.

I'm relieved you are no longer with us because, whoever you are, in addition to being an unreliable customer (starting and stopping...which is no way to build a sales pipeline), you are an unreasonable person demonstrated by your wildly unrealistic expectations about what GREAT terms of service are. Being able to cancel on 5 days notice without penalty are great terms.

I've run a digital marketing and web development company since 2002.  I started it well before YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and before iPhones were launched.  Since then, we've completed more than 18,500 projects in the web development and web marketing space.  

I've learned quite a bit during the past 20 years of running a company, and the top thing I've realized is that getting the right clients at the right time is no easy task. 

In the past, I've had several people on my team trying to do outbound calling.  I've done everything from print campaigns (in the very distant past) to Google Ads and other types of outbound, demand generation marketing.

What I've found is that for some areas - such as very niche specialized spaces, Google PPC ads can be a great way to go.  But in terms of acquiring new customers for the digital marketing space, it's not been a cost effective way to go.

We're really good at what we do - digital marketing and web development.  I don't really have the solid skillset to run a successful outbound call center; I've tried it in the past, and it's not something I found effective. 

So late last year, I connected with the team at Arsenal, and was impressed with how they approach things.  They have a great handle on how to run a successful outbound call center, and they have a number of systems in place that allow them to get in touch with the right people at the right time.

I've been impressed with their service, and how they are able to get in touch and generate really solid leads with decision makers in the vertical industries that we're targeting.  (We have category exclusivity with them, so I'm not worried about sharing my story online as a review.)

Outbound sales takes time to bear fruit. You have to be patient. But Gabe and Sam put in the time and the work, made the calls day after day, and pivoted when necessary. They were able to get us multiple appointments with decision makers within the first two months! Since then, I’m typically having appointments with new prospective clients several times a month. After 6 months we just won our first major new contract — a big project for a great client. Now that our pipeline’s filling up, I anticipate more sales to come soon, as proposals go out and the work starts to pay off.

I was referred to Arsenal by a close and trusted friend. I'm usually skeptical about outsourcing something this important to a business, but Aaron and his Team (specifically Tanner, who is my rep) have been nothing but absolutely amazing.

They have taken full responsibility of a piece of the business that I struggled with, hated, and absolutely failed at. Just knowing that this is taken care of has allowed me to further my attention to more important areas of my business.

We've tried just about everything for new business development with mediocre results. I though outbound calling had lost it's luster but Arsenal has proven otherwise. So far, I'm very happy with the results. Their sales team is trained properly, placed in a competitive environment, and paid properly which leads to similar results as a full-time Outside Sales rep grinding for new appointments.

It was truly remarkable how quickly he returned my call about an issue with a rep calling my receptionist. They leverage a number of software solutions to make their prospecting efficient and of course, you bypass having to manage these resources day to day.

These guys are GREAT! Very transparent and you know exactly what you are getting and they will be a great addition to your team. Unfortunately I couldn't be a client as they already have a client in my area But they stayed true to their geographical clients so that they are not having their own clients compete.
